31 July 2010 As part of the governmental program, AMD processors will power computer labs in 1400 public elementary schools throughout Egypt AMD (NYSE: AMD) has announced the deployment of computers based on AMD's Phenom II X2 processors and AMD 780 chipset solutions, as part of a comprehensive tender agreement with the Ministry of Education in Egypt.
